CHEROKEE LODGE RESORT

CODE OF CONDUCT

The Codes of Behavior expected at Cherokee Lodge Resort are derived of common sense, courtesy, and individual respect with maximum community safety in mind.  These guidelines are in essence a list of the good manners practiced in most pleasant social situations.

PERSONAL

Towels must be used when sitting.  Bring your own!

Overt sexual behavior (dirty dancing, lap dancing) is inappropriate and will not be tolerated.  This will be grounds for immediate expulsion from the grounds.

Body decorations, piercings, and tattoos must not conflict with our family atmosphere. This will be determined individually according to management's discretion. You may be asked to remove piercing jewelry by management if in their own opinion it is offensive to others. Refusal to remove the piercing jewelry will result in immediate expulsion from the grounds with no refund of any or all fees paid. Offensive tats must be covered up or expulsion will also be enforced. We are a family oriented park and we intend to keep it so.

Bedroom attire is NOT permitted on the grounds or at dances.

Intoxication, physical violence, use and/or distribution of drugs, display of firearms, or public sexual and/or sexual solicitation activities are cause for immediate expulsion from the grounds.

We are a family-oriented resort.  Remember that our children see and hear everything.  Please act accordingly.

NO ONE UNDER 18 IS ALLOWED AT DANCES.

No outside beer or wine coolers are allowed at dances.  Alcoholic  beverages in glass bottles must be kept in your room.  Alcoholic beverages must be in plastic at dances.

If anyone makes you uncomfortable, please inform a staff member immediately!  (We cannot fix a problem if we are unaware there is a problem!)

COMMUNITY

Fires in designated fire pits only!!!

Quiet time is:  Friday & Saturday   12 am to 6 am

Sunday through Thursday 11 pm to 6 am

No glass on the grounds.  This is for the safety of all.

The privacy of our guests is important.  No cameras, camera phones, or camcorders are allowed unless approved by management – and a member of management must be present when photos are being taken, except in the privacy of your own room or cabin!

Please park in designated areas only.  Be considerate, do not block other guest’s vehicles.

Parents are responsible for the behavior of their children.  Children should NOT be unsupervised at any time!  Please do not allow your children to annoy other guests.  We want your children to enjoy themselves, but please be considerate.  Your children must NOT be allowed to destroy the grounds of Cherokee or the property belonging to others.  Parents please understand:  FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES WILL RESULT IN YOUR FAMILY BEING ASKED TO LEAVE OUR RESORT.

Small pets are permitted under the following conditions:

They must be leashed and must not use the common areas.

Pets are not allowed in the hot tub or pool areas.

Pets are not allowed in Lodge Rooms.

Pets must be kept quiet so as not to disturb our other guests.

Owners must clean up after pets.

Pets should not be brushed or bathed in shower areas.  This             results in clogged drains and unsightly conditions.

Please do not wash your vehicles (car/truck/RV/camper) while on Cherokee grounds.

Construction or repairs, with the exception of emergency repairs, must be limited to Monday through Thursday to eliminate excessive noise on the weekends.

We reserve the right to refuse admittance or to remove from the grounds anyone whose presence we feel is not in the best interests of Cherokee Lodge, our guests, TNS  (The Naturist Society), or AANR (American Association for Nude Recreation).

Any violation of the above rules will result in forfeiture of membership and/or expulsion from Cherokee Lodge Resort grounds.  Fees will not be refunded!

EFFECTIVE APRIL 1, 2006

The entire interior of the Lodge will become Non-Smoking. This includes Lodge Rooms, Common Area, and gathering areas. The outside deck and porch will continue to be smoking areas.

Members and guests will not be allowed to bring their own beer to the dances. Cherokee Lodge sells beer, and it hurts the club when someone does not support it by buying the beer that is always available.

PLEASE REMEMBER, CHEROKEE LODGE RESORT IS A NUDIST RESORT—PLEASE REMOVE YOUR CLOTHING BEFORE USING OUR POOL OR HOT TUB.

THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW!

IMPORTANT NOTE TO SINGLE PARENTS: If you are separated or divorced and wish to bring your underage child/children to Cherokee, you MUST bring a notarized statement from the other parent giving permission for the child/children to be on our grounds! We are very sorry, but there can be no exceptions to this rule. This is NOT a Cherokee rule; it is the law in the State of Tennessee.

Room and cabin check out time is 11 a.m.
AANR, NNC, or TNS members receive a 20% discount on Grounds Fees. To receive this discount, you MUST show us your CURRENT AANR, NNC, or TNS membership card. The name on the card must match your registration. Sorry, no exceptions!
Rental and leased units are priced for two or less adult occupants. Additional adult guests will be charged at current rate each.

As an alternative, you may mail us a check as a deposit. Please note: If you make a reservation and do not cancel at least two days before your arrival date, your credit card will be charged for an amount equal to one night's rental. If you send us a check deposit, if you cancel your reservation in a timely manner, we will return your deposit--otherwise, we will not.
