Each year Cherokee Lodge and Resort conducts an Easter Sunday Service for the members and visitors to the resort. Minister Danny Davis, also the owner of Cherokee, has conducted the service each year. Cherokee has its very own church constructed out of logs and is located on the grounds in the Wildwood.

This year, Danny had a big surprise in store for him. His daughter Kathy and his Grandson Alex paid a surprise vist to Cherokee for the Easter service. It had been several years since Danny had seen them, and he was elated that they were able to attend. (see photo below)
